Wednesday-Baking Day!!

Bonjour!! Its me again. Well, continuing from the story again, we decided to make the cake on Wednesday. Around 2.30pm, I went to fetch Sheiffa at the MRT station. Then, we went to shop to open the shop before buying the ingredients for our cake. After that, Imet my mum at Ghim Lee to buy the ingredients for our chosen cake, which is called Rich Chocolate Cake. My mum, Alia, Sheiffa and I went to buy the ingredients and went home. Saffwan came around 5pm, after playing tennis with his cousin. Suddenly, we realised that we were short of certain things and that Abidah, Ameerah and the boys have not come back from the Library yet. We started really, really late. It was later than what we planned.

After what seemed like forever, the gang finally came around 6.30pm. Then, the fun starts. Saffwan and I measured the ingredients while the rest will start prepaing the cake. We divided the team into two, boys-Saffwan, Anis and Aadil and the girls -Me, Ameerah, Sheiffa, Abidah, Akidah and Alia. The oldest girls- Ameerah, Sheiffa and Abidah, made the dough for the cake. Alia and Akidah stirred the chocolate for the flavorings. The boys were to make the chocolate glaze as a topping. I was to bake the cake and made sure everything went smoothly. Then, Sheiffa and Saffwan had to go home becoz the mother were to fetch them. But how to go home when we have not even started baking? Anyways, they went home and we continued baking. After about 40 minutes, the cake was ready. I'm not saying anything, but the cake turned out great!! It was really nice. Not bad for first timers. Our only setback was that the cake turned out to be small. But it was enough to divide between four different families. All those who baked were proud of themselves as the cake turned out good. We called it our mini factory. I took pictures of us working together to produce the cake. Its is being developed. This is what our finished product look like.We had a blast!!

My Mom's Birthday

Bonjour! Elizabeth here again. This time my post is about my mum's birthday and how we celebrated it. Her birthday falls on the 24th of November. It was on a Saturday. So, on Monday, on the 19th of November, I went to the nearest Coffe Bean cafe, which is at Paya Lebar MRT, to order my mum's ultimate favourite cake, which is this White Choc Raspberry Cheesecake. That IS her favourite cake. I knew it coz sometimes we go there and she always orders the same cake. It is REALLY, REALLY NICE. So, at 1.6kg, it cost $47. I know, it is costly. But me and my siblings pool the money together to buy the cake for her. I was excited.

Then, the day came. We did our usual stuff in the morning, afternoon and evening. But, at night, after we close the shop, my mum decided that she wanted to eat at this hawker restaurant called Mak's Place at Changi Rd. Practically, half of us wanted steaks. So we had them. Except for Anis who ate noodles. After that, we went home to cut the cake. We surprised her with the cake. She was happy. Really2 happy!! She was happy becoz it was her favourite cake. She said, and I quote, "This is the best cake she had after a long time". It was true coz the cake was really delicious. Hope to eat it again!!! Anyways, Happy Birthday, Mum!! And, btw, I was the first to wish her on that day. Anyways, these are pictures of her birthday cake from Coffee Bean. Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Yeah. End Of Exams. Finally.....

Bonjour!! Its me again, Elizabeth. How are you people? Have not be posting for a while....becoz of the stressful O Levels. But am pretty glad its over. Fewh! What a load off my back. I was so happy that while exiting from Bedok North Secondary School, I was walking alone, giggling and smiling to myself. I was like, "yeah"! while plunging my elbow downwards. I was careful, of coure, to not let anyone see me. Hahaha. What a way! Anyways, been missing my blog and all my friends, but of course, knowing me, I couldn't resist....TAKING PICTURES! Here are alll my latest. Had to show off the new hat I bought. I liked it a lot and decided to pair it up with my favourite clothes. Whenever I showed my friends and cousins my new hat, the first thought that came to their minds were Fendi, the LTD winner. I get what they mean, but it was not like he was the one who came out with the syle. What else do I want to say...? Btw, I found my USB cable. Finally. Itwas hiiden under the carpet. Clumsy me. Haha hehe. Oh yeah, I know its too late, but Selamat Hari Raya Aidlifitri or Eid Mubarak to all Muslims in the world. And not forgettin, HAPPY DEEPAVALI to all my Indian friends and Indian people in the world. Anyways, I didn't have much fun during visiting Hari Raya. Didn't collect enough money as I would have liked to hahaha. But the reason was because of my exam times clashing with the festivities. So, I end up going to relatives house only. I would like to go with my friends. Anyways, I almost forgot one important thing. My HUGE thanks to one of my cousin, Sheiffa, for helping me with my blog. Thanks Sheiffa!! Its really nice. Thank you. Now, I've finally finish what Ihad to say. Dun worry, I will post more posts. Till then, see ya!! Adieu!!

Bonjour Again!!! What's happening? I've been busy updating my blog, entry after entry. Got loads on my mind, thats all. Anyways, here are two videos I took of my younger siblings and my younger cousins. Saffwan came to the house on Friday and played with together with everyone. They had loads of fun.
