Bonjour!!! Its me, Elizabeth Swann, here again. Well, yesterday, as said, Saffwan, Sheiffa and Abidah came over to our house. We were all extra excited yesterday coz Abidah could come along as she could not make it the other time. But we all had fun. The first game we played was Amazing Race, hosted by Saffwan 'Phil' Keoghan and Alia. Well, it got down to the final three, which was me, Sheiffa and Anis. Even though the space was limited, we had lots of fun. We used the indoors as well as the outdoors, the upstairs floor as well as the downstairs floor. Anyways, the winner was ...ME! Surprise, surprise. Actually, during the final game, when I could not find the clue, I almost gave up coz it was so hard to find the clue. Anyways, happy that I won. Next, we played 'Shirbeeni Idol'. Everyone sang two songs each except for me, as I sang one song coz I joined in the last minute as I was watching my Chinese and Korean show. Anywyas, everyone joined, even Alia. We all voted more than 5 times and of coz not for ourselves. In the end, we played one round first and decided unanimously that Saffwan was to win the first round, judging by the vote. What we saw red for Saffwan winning the idol was that all of Alia's vote was for Saffwan. Hahahaha. Funny, right? But of coz Saffwan deserved to win. He was the most enthusiastic. The rest were a bit shy and all but dun worry, there was to be round two.

As I was surprisingly shy, I suggested a different type of game. I wanted to play 'PROJECT RUNWAY'. I liked the game as we have played it before at Saffwan's house when we stayed over. They all agreed. The game was that they are given a number of different colours and type of cloth to drape themselves with and by creating an original, creative and wearable outfit. Of coz, I took photos to post on my blog. Saffwan was the judge. He commented on our 'creative' creations and all of us got to decide who had the most creative design and fashion sense and looked cool. We all had our clothes as a base, but they cloth must really co-ordinate well with our basic attire. The only difference that I did with this game of 'PROJECT RUNWAY' is that I added my own personal assesories to add the 'wow' factor and 'bling' up the whole look. Not only that, they had to do a catwalk first before presenting themselves to the judge for evaluation. Believe me, these were all everyone's own idea and they had five minutes in the room alone to come up with their own designs. This is really their own ideas! Icannot stress how much that is! And judging from yesterday, they all did well. But, of coz, someone has to win. And the winner was......surprise, surprise, ANIS!! Hahahahaha. Many of you would laugh, but we all voted among ourselves and we agreed that his design was the most beautifully-coordinated, it made sense and it was simple. So, like my post heading said, Fashion Magazines Over The World, if you want to look for BUDDING DESIGNERS OR EVEN MODELS, this is the blog/post to look out for. We really have talent here. Haha. Part-Time Talent Scout

Yesterday- What A Day

Bonjour!! How are you people? Anyways, yesterday we all went to Saffwan's house to play with them and Abidah and Ameerah. We filmed a movie, played the traditional Shirbeeni sport, Rugby. Then, later, we all just sat together and talked. Soon after, Ami Zaid and his whole family came. It was fun and noisy, with all the small kids. But, we can't really blame them, right? Kids are kids.

Then, at night, we all went to Swensens to eat the ice-cream. Another day of fun. I certainly enjoyed myself.

Thursday-Rugby Day

Bonjour, its me!! Anyways, after a tiring day yesterday, we went to send Ami Zaid to the airport in the morning at around 9.30 in the morning. After that, we planned to go Saffwan's house as Aunty Sham is goin to Batam the whole day. But, after asking our father, he asked Saffwan and the gang to come to the house. After a few phone calls, Saffwan could come to the house so we went to fetch them. Then, after arriving at the house, we decided to make a mini movie starring ourselves. We came up with the concept of doing a gangster-comedy style of movie. It was hillarious!! We really thought what would be funny and infused it into our movie. After filming, we were quite happy with the results. Our movie was quite well-received, I must say. Hahahaha. We were all natural born actors. Hahahaha. Anyways, we had a blast.

After that, Saffwan decided to play a game of Olympics. It was funny at first, but we all kind of go along with the flow. It was fun, but very tiring and painful. After a while, we decided to switch to our favourite game, which is rugby. This time, we played like we were really in a tournament. We had five different tournaments, and surprisingly, my team won all five tournaments. We also won some 'money'. My group comprises of Me, Sheiffa, Suffyan and Alia versus the boys. It was fun but also very, very painful. I was also not feeling well and was covered in bruises. Our bodies were blue-black all over. Then, at night, after being so tired, we had no energy left so we played a simple game of charades. After a while, they all went home. We had a fun time. Anyways, group picture of the CHAMPIONS!!

Wednesday-Baking Day!!

Bonjour!! Its me again. Well, continuing from the story again, we decided to make the cake on Wednesday. Around 2.30pm, I went to fetch Sheiffa at the MRT station. Then, we went to shop to open the shop before buying the ingredients for our cake. After that, Imet my mum at Ghim Lee to buy the ingredients for our chosen cake, which is called Rich Chocolate Cake. My mum, Alia, Sheiffa and I went to buy the ingredients and went home. Saffwan came around 5pm, after playing tennis with his cousin. Suddenly, we realised that we were short of certain things and that Abidah, Ameerah and the boys have not come back from the Library yet. We started really, really late. It was later than what we planned.

After what seemed like forever, the gang finally came around 6.30pm. Then, the fun starts. Saffwan and I measured the ingredients while the rest will start prepaing the cake. We divided the team into two, boys-Saffwan, Anis and Aadil and the girls -Me, Ameerah, Sheiffa, Abidah, Akidah and Alia. The oldest girls- Ameerah, Sheiffa and Abidah, made the dough for the cake. Alia and Akidah stirred the chocolate for the flavorings. The boys were to make the chocolate glaze as a topping. I was to bake the cake and made sure everything went smoothly. Then, Sheiffa and Saffwan had to go home becoz the mother were to fetch them. But how to go home when we have not even started baking? Anyways, they went home and we continued baking. After about 40 minutes, the cake was ready. I'm not saying anything, but the cake turned out great!! It was really nice. Not bad for first timers. Our only setback was that the cake turned out to be small. But it was enough to divide between four different families. All those who baked were proud of themselves as the cake turned out good. We called it our mini factory. I took pictures of us working together to produce the cake. Its is being developed. This is what our finished product look like.We had a blast!!

My Mom's Birthday

Bonjour! Elizabeth here again. This time my post is about my mum's birthday and how we celebrated it. Her birthday falls on the 24th of November. It was on a Saturday. So, on Monday, on the 19th of November, I went to the nearest Coffe Bean cafe, which is at Paya Lebar MRT, to order my mum's ultimate favourite cake, which is this White Choc Raspberry Cheesecake. That IS her favourite cake. I knew it coz sometimes we go there and she always orders the same cake. It is REALLY, REALLY NICE. So, at 1.6kg, it cost $47. I know, it is costly. But me and my siblings pool the money together to buy the cake for her. I was excited.

Then, the day came. We did our usual stuff in the morning, afternoon and evening. But, at night, after we close the shop, my mum decided that she wanted to eat at this hawker restaurant called Mak's Place at Changi Rd. Practically, half of us wanted steaks. So we had them. Except for Anis who ate noodles. After that, we went home to cut the cake. We surprised her with the cake. She was happy. Really2 happy!! She was happy becoz it was her favourite cake. She said, and I quote, "This is the best cake she had after a long time". It was true coz the cake was really delicious. Hope to eat it again!!! Anyways, Happy Birthday, Mum!! And, btw, I was the first to wish her on that day. Anyways, these are pictures of her birthday cake from Coffee Bean. Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Yeah. End Of Exams. Finally.....

Bonjour!! Its me again, Elizabeth. How are you people? Have not be posting for a while....becoz of the stressful O Levels. But am pretty glad its over. Fewh! What a load off my back. I was so happy that while exiting from Bedok North Secondary School, I was walking alone, giggling and smiling to myself. I was like, "yeah"! while plunging my elbow downwards. I was careful, of coure, to not let anyone see me. Hahaha. What a way! Anyways, been missing my blog and all my friends, but of course, knowing me, I couldn't resist....TAKING PICTURES! Here are alll my latest. Had to show off the new hat I bought. I liked it a lot and decided to pair it up with my favourite clothes. Whenever I showed my friends and cousins my new hat, the first thought that came to their minds were Fendi, the LTD winner. I get what they mean, but it was not like he was the one who came out with the syle. What else do I want to say...? Btw, I found my USB cable. Finally. Itwas hiiden under the carpet. Clumsy me. Haha hehe. Oh yeah, I know its too late, but Selamat Hari Raya Aidlifitri or Eid Mubarak to all Muslims in the world. And not forgettin, HAPPY DEEPAVALI to all my Indian friends and Indian people in the world. Anyways, I didn't have much fun during visiting Hari Raya. Didn't collect enough money as I would have liked to hahaha. But the reason was because of my exam times clashing with the festivities. So, I end up going to relatives house only. I would like to go with my friends. Anyways, I almost forgot one important thing. My HUGE thanks to one of my cousin, Sheiffa, for helping me with my blog. Thanks Sheiffa!! Its really nice. Thank you. Now, I've finally finish what Ihad to say. Dun worry, I will post more posts. Till then, see ya!! Adieu!!

Bonjour Again!!! What's happening? I've been busy updating my blog, entry after entry. Got loads on my mind, thats all. Anyways, here are two videos I took of my younger siblings and my younger cousins. Saffwan came to the house on Friday and played with together with everyone. They had loads of fun. National Day

Hey Y'all

Bonjour, its Elizabeth again!!!! How I missed posting on my blog. First, there was a problem with my computer. Then, I had to rent out my house for a year, so we shifted to my grandma's house. Its really sad. One have to stay here and they will know what I mean. Hahaha. So much has happened. Where do I start? Well, for starters, I will pick up where I left off. I celebrated my birthday with my family and with the addition of my mum's new client, Osman. He is a pakistani bloke born and bred in British. Anyways, we had dinner at this fantastic seafood restaurant. Afterwards, we had ice-cream at Swensens. What a feast, huh? I really enjoyed myself. After that, we went home feeling tired but before we tuck ourselves to bed, we cut the birthday cake. I invited my Mercu friends and cooked for them my spaghetti on the next day. I received different varieties of earrings from them, as a birthhday present, which they know Im crazy about. Thanks, you guys. My siblings gave me a dress for my birthday, as you can see it, and my parents bought the latest Harry Potter book. I was ecstatic. There is a picture of me and my folks.Thanks, mum and dad. My Graduation Dress

Bonjour!!! Its me, Elizabeth Swann again. Just wanna show something embarassing. I was rummaging through my clothes one day when I came across my graduation dress way back in 2004, after finishing Secondary 4. I thought, wow, its still here. So, I thought, why not try it on again. It still fits, but not willing to show the picture to just any Tom, Dick and Harry. So, I look funny but ok.
